How Many Other Weddings Do You Do On The Same Date?
Being A Small Business, It’s Not Really Possible For To Do More Than One Event In A Day.
I Will SOMETIMES Do Up To Two Weddings In A Weekend… But Only If The Circumstances Are Right.
How Far In Advance Do You Get & Design With The Flowers?
Flowers Typically Arrive In My Temperature Controlled Design Studio 4 Days Prior To Your Wedding Date. That Way They Are Within The Perfect Window Of Open & Bloomed While Still In Their Prime.
Here Is An Example Of A Normal Schedule For A Saturday Wedding.
Wednesday : Flowers Arrive : Hours Are Spent Going Stem By Stem To Remove Leaves, Thorns, & Petals. Proper Care & Handling Is Important & Takes A Lot Of Time.
The Flowers Spend The Night Drinking Specialty Cocktails Of Water & Flower Food In Their Buckets.
Thursday : Start Designing : Centerpieces Tend To Be The Focus.
Friday : Bouquets & Ceremony Arrangements.
Saturday : Boutonnieres & Pack Up Jackaroo The Subaru Florister.
Add In The Set Up & On-Site Designing Of Floral Installs.
Monday : Clean Up My Studio. Disinfect & Scrub Buckets, Sweep Up Leaves & Stems, Fill My Compost Bin, Reset Supplies & Design Station.
